We are hiring a Strategic Sourcing Senior Professional for one of our clients in Ludvika. In this strategic role, you will define and implement local sourcing strategies, develop and maintain the supply base, conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate agreements, and drive improvements in quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. You will act as a key link between internal stakeholders and suppliers in a technical manufacturing environment.
Support the Factory Supply Chain Manager by streamlining daily operations and alleviating workload through proactive collaboration and efficient task management.
Define and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance.
Conduct supplier evaluations and drive improvement initiatives.
Identify and qualify new suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
Monitor market trends affecting supply, cost, and availability.
Support internal stakeholders with sourcing needs.
Experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI.
Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written – mandatory).
Valid SSG-Entré certificate.
Ability to work on-site in Ludvika.
Degree in Engineering or related field.
Ideally, knowledge or experience with electrical components.
