Cadence has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist within their Hardware Systems Verification Supply Chain Team. This person will have the following responsibilities:

  • Design and scale the overall supply chain to meet growing business demands, including sourcing strategy, cost management, and vendor governance.
  • Develop and execute the sourcing strategy, eliminate supply chain risks, achieve operational performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute global strategic sourcing, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Implement and oversee supply base cost management initiatives to drive value and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive management on procurement strategy, vendor risk, and cost optimization opportunities.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Supply Chain operational leadership experience in the electronic systems industry.
  • Rich experience in nurturing long, sustainable relationships with suppliers. Deep networks established with vendors in the electronics market.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively, manage risks, drive COGs down, and achieve margin expansion.
  • Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and inventory operations.
  • Strong financial and P&L management skills, with the ability to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.

The annual salary range for California is $144,200 to $267,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
