Turner & Townsend is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a high‑impact role responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing top passive talent for both current and future business needs.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and deeply aligned with our purposes and values.

This role focuses on building a strong, forward-looking talent community by developing proactive pipelines aligned with demand planning, business priorities, and future skill requirements.

This role is both strategic and hands‑on, serving as a brand ambassador for Turner & Townsend and delivering a personalized, high‑quality candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data‑informed, multichannel sourcing strategies to identify and engage high‑caliber passive candidates.
  • Leverage sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM, AI tools, niche platforms, networking) to map markets, uncover passive talent, and build targeted pipelines.
  • Conduct consultative conversations to assess interest, suitability, and alignment with Turner & Townsend across channels- phone screen,
  • Partner closely with Recruiters, Strategic Talent partners, and business stakeholders to understand demand plans, workforce trends, and priority skillsets.
  • Build and maintain talent communities for future hiring needs, including repeatable, forecasted, or business‑critical skill groups.
  • Maintain warm, nurtured pipelines with ongoing engagement and talent intelligence updates.
  • Serve as a trusted sourcing advisor to Recruiters and Hiring Managers by sharing market intelligence, talent insights, and competitive trends.
  • Influence hiring decisions using data and candidate intelligence.
  • Enable “opportunistic introductions” for high‑value strategic talent ahead of formal demand.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance in all sourcing systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Track sourcing effectiveness, optimize strategies, and report on pipeline health.
  • Deliver a consistent, respectful, and high‑quality candidate experience reflective of Turner & Townsend’s brand.
  • Support inclusion and diversity goals through inclusive sourcing practices and balanced pipelines.
  • Promote partnership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the TA team.
  • Support recruitment operations tasks as needed, such as scheduling, documentation, job postings, and special projects.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, headhunting, or sourcing, with a strong track record of identifying passive candidates and building pipelines for specialized or hard‑to‑fill roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with sourcing technologies and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS/CRM, AI‑enabled platforms, talent insights tools).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, engage, and consult across seniority levels and geographies.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to synthesize data, insights, and market intelligence to inform sourcing strategy and stakeholder decision‑making.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for relationship‑building, networking, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Prior experience identifying talent in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or professional services is preferred.
