A Day in the Life

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Supply Management team. The primary focus of this position will be to advance data management and business intelligence services across Global Supply Management to drive cost savings, supplier optimization, and improved business outcomes.

Job Specific Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team within Global Supply Management. The primary focus of this position will be to advance data management and business intelligence services across Global Supply Management to drive cost savings, supplier optimization, and improved business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in data architecture, data analytics, and data management to provide insights and intelligence to Global Supply Management, driving forward decision-making and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Develop, enhance and optimize integrated data models to meet the needs of the analytics team, supply management strategic programs and sourcing stakeholders.
• Optimize and standardize data collection and maintenance processes and tools to drive efficiency and improve accuracy and completeness of enrichment data.
• Drive improvement initiatives in collaboration with IT and analytics teams across Strategic Sourcing.
• Explore and leverage AI capabilities to improve work efficiency and enhance self-service analytics.
• Deploy data governance best-practices to ensure continuity, availability, security, integrity and accuracy of stewarded datasets.
• Solve problems and resolve issues, both independently and in collaboration with partners in IT and on the Analytics Team.
• Gain a clear understanding of business processes, data definitions and stakeholder requirements to develop practical data solutions that support strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant data analysis/architecture experience or advanced degree.
• Advanced English proficiency C1-C2.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of data analytics applied to strategic sourcing and related processes (e.g., supply chain, purchasing, quality).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) including advanced SQL programming skills and working knowledge of data architecture principles.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Experience developing tools to collect and maintain user-managed data leveraging platforms such as Streamlit or PowerApps.
• Strong project management capabilities with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in presenting to diverse audiences across all organizational levels.
