**This is an onsite role in Farmers Branch, TX, Monday - Friday from 7 am - 4 pm**

Hi-Line is a nationwide distributor of over 100,000+ industrial aftermarket products across industries like transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, and heavy equipment.

This person should be a skilled professional who is comfortable working with executives at suppliers, able to lead a team, and analyze data to make decisions. We’re looking for a leader who can work effectively with various levels of the organization to get things done, loves learning, and can partner with our Suppliers to gain optimal quality, cost, and availability of products for our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manage supplier relationships, develop strong relationships with key partners, and identify opportunities to add value.Partner with the Product Manager to build and execute the full lifecycle from adding new products to sunsetting discontinued products.Lead the buying team and own results such as fill rates, inventory purchases, part # set up/maintenance, discrepancy review, alt suppliers, vendor scorecards, etc.Enhance current KPI reporting via new BI tool.Monitor market conditions, supplier capabilities, and potential business risks, and be creative, proactive, and execution-oriented toward solving problems.Analyze current forecast process and give guidance on min/max levels to improve fill rates for customers.Translate data and analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.Ability to professionally escalate issues to get results.Negotiate cost effective relationships with key suppliers regarding pricing, terms, quality, lead time, etc.Requirements:5+ years Purchasing experienceExperience with 20k+ SKUsDistribution experience preferredPrevious team management experienceAdvanced knowledge in ExcelSuperb leadership and communication skillsAdvanced ability to collaborate and negotiateExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilitiesBachelor’s Degree preferredProcurement Certifications preferredWillingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationshipsBenefits:Paid vacation and sick leave401(k), health, dental, and life insuranceOpportunities for career growth and advancementA 60-year history of steady growth as a privately held, Dallas based companyFriendly and comfortable work environmentSecurity of working for an essential business that is debt-freeWho we are:
