Job Overview:

VinFast is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented
Strategic Sourcing Lead
to support global procurement and sourcing initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of components and materials while maintaining high quality and compliance standards. The Strategic Sourcing Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, to drive efficiency and innovation in sourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
• 
  Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to enhance VinFast’s supplier network.
• 
  Conduct market research and benchmarking to assess supplier capabilities, industry trends, and cost structures.
• 
  Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure best-value procurement.
• 
  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• 
  Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• 
  Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
• 
  Support localization and sustainability initiatives to align with company goals.
• 
  Maintain accurate sourcing data and reporting in ERP and procurement systems.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 
  Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• 
  Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Experience in supplier evaluation, contract management, and cost analysis.
• 
  Familiarity with global sourcing, procurement regulations, and compliance requirements.
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• 
  Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 
  Fluency in English is required
