The role

As a Strategic Solutions Architect, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping complex, high-impact solutions that support defence, aerospace, and engineering programmes. Acting as the bridge between customer requirements and engineering delivery, you’ll translate needs into practical, sustainable, and commercially viable solutions.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

• Leading solution discovery activities with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Translating operational requirements into structured technical solutions, operating models, and service propositions
• Supporting bid development through compelling technical proposals, win themes, and solution narratives
• Collaborating with engineering, delivery, and commercial teams to ensure feasibility and integration
• Presenting solutions in customer workshops, technical briefings, and bid defence discussions

This role is based at Jakarta, Indonesia.

Essential experience of the Strategic Solutions Architect

• Demonstrating experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or complex technical bid environments
• Working within defence, aerospace, engineering, or other complex technical sectors
• Translating customer needs into practical, deliverable, and commercially sound solutions
• Communicating effectively through technical writing, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
• Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams in a structured and solution-focused way

Qualifications for the Strategic Solutions Architect

• Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related discipline
