Bring your expertise to an industry with purpose, scale and global impact

At MUFG Pension & Market Services, your consulting, analysis and stakeholder engagement skills translate directly into meaningful work that supports millions of Australians. As part of the largest business within a global financial institution, you’ll enter the superannuation sector with strong development pathways, complex enterprise‑level work, and exposure to senior leaders shaping the future of Operations & Technology.

This role sits within the Strategic Planning & Governance function and plays a critical role in translating strategy into structured, executable plans. You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders and the Head of Strategic Planning & Governance to deliver high‑quality analysis, planning artefacts, and decision support that enables effective prioritisation and mobilisation of initiatives.

About the role

As the Strategic Solutions Analyst, you will provide analytical, planning and delivery support across strategic initiatives within COTO. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone from a consulting, strategy, PMO or business analysis background who enjoys working at pace, solving ambiguous problems, and presenting clear, well‑structured insights to senior audiences.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver analysis, planning support and structured inputs into strategic initiatives
  • Develop high‑quality planning artefacts including strategy decks, roadmaps, initiative summaries and briefing papers
  • Conduct structured business analysis such as requirements gathering, process mapping, capability gap analysis and data consolidation
  • Support prioritisation and sequencing decisions by preparing analysis that clarifies dependencies, risks and trade‑offs
  • Coordinate and support strategy, design and solution‑exploration workshops, capturing outcomes and actions
  • Maintain planning artefacts, registers, trackers and templates to ensure consistency, accuracy and visibility
  • Assist with light solution design by synthesising stakeholder input into clear conceptual models, flows or diagrams
  • Support the COTO operating rhythm through preparation of presentations, data and executive‑ready materials

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Miro/Visio, and structured planning registers

Desirable

  • Exposure to strategy, planning, portfolio or transformation environments
