Job Description

Here's your chance to design medium and long term customer experiences that also enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall quality of living for more people than you've imagined.

In this role, you'll:

  • Assist with foresight research, trend scanning and scenario development to inform future customer experiences.
  • Support primary research and synthesis of insights to prepare artefacts that turn ambiguity into clear, actionable strategies, implications and next steps.
  • Assist with ideation, prototyping and testing to explore possibilities for future customer experiences.
  • Use visual storytelling and narrative building to engage stakeholders in envisioning the future
  • Support cross-agency collaboration with internal teams and external partners to align objectives and assumptions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable frameworks, tools and guidance.
  • Support knowledge sharing and capability uplift by curating sources, documenting methods and presenting findings to project teams and stakeholders.

About you

  • Hold tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in futures, service design or human centred design.
  • Understand design thinking and research methodologies, including strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and research insights.
  • Experience prototyping and testing a wide range of concepts with different audiences.
  • Effective visual and verbal communicator able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • Curious, adaptable and committed to customer outcomes.
