The Opportunity

We are seeking a Relationship Manager to support Cleanaway’s broker and competitor segment. This role is focused on delivering strong commercial outcomes through effective coordination, analysis and stakeholder engagement, ensuring revenue and profit targets are achieved.

Operating in a fast-paced, desk-based environment, you will engage with customers nationally across a broad range of waste service offerings. You will play a key role in managing quote requests, coordinating service delivery internally, and ensuring all activities are executed with accuracy and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with aggregators, competitors and internal stakeholders to identify and capture service opportunities across Cleanaway’s network
  • Manage incoming quote requests, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate pricing and seamless booking of services
  • Coordinate closely with operations teams, branch managers and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient and commercially sound outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM, ensuring all activities are completed within expected timeframes
  • Monitor competitor activity and maintain a database of relevant market intelligence
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline, activity and market insights
  • Ensure all processes are followed with a high level of diligence, accuracy and attention to detail

About You

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment. You bring a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across quoting, data entry and system updates
  • Confident and articulate communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders primarily via Teams and phone
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations teams and branch managers
  • Sound judgement and the confidence to push back where required, ensuring practical and commercially sensible outcomes
  • Experience working in customer service, coordination or stakeholder-focused roles within a complex environment
  • A proactive, reliable and team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to delivering results
