Strategic Project Lead

What You Will Do

• Own the end-to-end execution of AI data projects, from scoping requirements to final delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Recruit, vet, onboard, and manage large teams of specialized contractors (annotators) under tight deadlines to meet project demands.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for leading AI labs, fostering daily communications and building long-term strategic partnerships.
• Manage project finances, quality control, and data delivery, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
• Operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, employing creative problem-solving to address high-priority client requests effectively.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 1+ years of experience in a high-intensity operational role, ideally within a technology or data-focused environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with minimal oversight, demonstrating high agency and self-starter qualities.
• Strong organizational skills with a track record of meeting tight deadlines and delivering quality results.
• Experience in recruiting and managing teams, particularly in a project-based context.

Preferred

• Familiarity with AI technologies and data management practices, particularly in relation to OpenAI.
• Experience working with clients in a startup environment, adapting to rapidly changing needs and priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $130K to $150K, commensurate with experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic and innovative company.
