We’re looking for a strategically minded procurement professional to join our Procurement team and lead end‑to‑end procurement activity across our Professional Services portfolio.
This role is ideal for an experienced procurement practitioner who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, shaping category strategies, and delivering strong commercial and sustainable outcomes across complex spend categories and programmes of work.
This role can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch, with centrally located offices and a hybrid working model that supports balance and flexibility.

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Lead, Professional Services, this role is responsible for leading major and medium‑complexity procurement activity across Professional Services categories.
You’ll manage the full procurement lifecycle - from category strategy and sourcing through to contract and supplier management, while partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver value for the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing strategic and innovative category management plans
Leading sourcing, negotiation and contract activities across Professional Services spend
Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape fit-for-purpose labour sourcing and engagement models, including supplier optimisation and governance
Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Providing pragmatic commercial and procurement advice to support business outcomes

You’ll bring strong experience in professional services procurement, with the confidence and credibility to operate across complex procurement initiatives and programmes of work with multiple stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone with:
Proven experience across Professional Services procurement categories
Demonstrated capability delivering end-to-end procurement programmes or large-scale initiatives
Strong capability in strategic sourcing, contract management and third‑party management
Experience developing and delivering category strategies aligned to business needs
Well‑developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, including with senior leaders
A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach to procurement
Sound commercial judgement and attention to detail
Strategic thinking balanced with practical, outcomes focused executionIntegrity and professionalism in supplier and stakeholder relationships
The ability to work independently while contributing to a broader team environment
