Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Strategic Pricing Manager

Location: Lysaker, Piraeus, Singapore, Shanghai | Type: Full-time

Do you enjoy turning data into smart business decisions? Are you the kind of person who sees the story behind the numbers — and knows how to use it to drive growth?

We’re looking for a Strategic Pricing Manager to help shape how we price our products and services across a global business. In this role, you’ll combine data, market insights, and commercial thinking to make sure we stay competitive while delivering real value to our customers.

About Wilhelmsen:

Founded in Norway in 1861, Wilhelmsen is a global maritime group delivering essential products and services to more than half of the world’s merchant fleet. We support the maritime industry with market‑leading solutions across ship services, products, logistics, and technical management — and we continue to explore new opportunities within renewables, offshore and energy.

Our Marine Products division supplies marine consumables, products, and solutions to vessels of every type. Our well‑known brands include Unitor, Timm Ropes, Unicool refrigerants, and Nalfleet marine chemicals. Last year alone, we supplied products to 27,500 vessels in over 2,000 ports worldwide.

If it floats, chances are our products are on board.

What you’ll be doing

As Strategic Pricing Manager, you will:

  • Use data and analytics to understand how our products are performing and identify opportunities to improve pricing and profitability

  • Set and adjust prices for products and services based on market trends, costs, and business goals

  • Keep a close eye on the market — including competitors and pricing trends — and turn insights into clear recommendations

  • Work closely with colleagues across the business, helping them make informed pricing decisions based on data and market knowledge

  • Regularly review and fine-tune pricing in response to changing market conditions

  • Help ensure pricing guidelines and best practices are understood and followed across the organization

  • Develop practical tools, templates, and dashboards that make pricing decisions easier and more consistent

  • Lead pricing-related projects, bringing together different teams to align strategy and deliver results

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data but also understands the bigger commercial picture. You are likely to have:

  • A degree in finance, economics, business, marketing, math’s, or a similar field

  • 3-5 years of experience in pricing, analytics, or a similar commercial role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear actions

  • Confidence working with different stakeholders and building strong working relationships

  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (experience with Power BI, automation or AI tools is a plus)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

What we offer:

At Wilhelmsen, you will join a global, innovative maritime company where your contribution truly matters.

  • A challenging role within one of the world’s leading maritime companies

  • Flexible working hours (hybrid model)

  • A competitive salary

  • WSS Bonus scheme

  • Laptop and mobile phone

  • Excellent pension scheme

  • 30 days of annual leave
