The Health Professions Accreditation Collaborative (HPAC) Forum brings together health profession accreditation authorities within Australia's National Regulation and Accreditation Scheme. We work collaboratively with our member organisations and other stakeholders to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of accreditation and assessment functions of the regulated health professions for the benefit of the community.

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Strategic Policy and Projects Officer to support the strategic work of the HPAC Forum. Combining policy, research, project management and stakeholder engagement, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that strengthen collaboration and advance priorities across the health professions accreditation sector.
Working closely with the Executive Officer, you will contribute to the Forum's strategic priorities through a combination of policy development, research, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, governance, communications and secretariat support.
This position operates with a high degree of autonomy. We are seeking someone who can take ownership of an issue or piece of work, understand the desired outcome, determine an appropriate approach, engage relevant stakeholders, and drive activities through to successful completion.

You will be experienced professional with strong research, analytical, writing, project and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will demonstrate:
Experience in health, education, regulation, accreditation, workforce policy, or a membership or professional organisation will be highly regarded.
A relevant tertiary qualification and/or substantial relevant professional experience is required.

You are asked to coordinate an HPAC Forum response to a national consultation. The issue is relevant to all members, and members have diverse perspectives and varying capacity to contribute. The consultation closes in four weeks and you have limited knowledge of the issue. In your response, explain how you would:
· Research and understand the issue
· Engage and seek input from members
· Manage the work within the timeframe
· Provide advice and recommendations to the Executive Officer
Describe a project or significant piece of work that you independently progressed from an initial objective through to an outcome.
· Outline your role, the actions you took and the outcome achieved.
