Department Overview
As a Business Planning member in the Enterprise Business Unit at Rakuten Mobile, you will be responsible for market research, competitive analysis, strategy development, KPI management, management accounting, and the promotion of company-wide projects. This department supports problem-solving for both field teams and executive management to maximize overall company performance.
We support the overall growth of the Enterprise Business Unit through market research, competitive analysis, the formulation of mid- to long-term strategies, the promotion of company-wide projects, and the visualization of necessary KPIs. We operate from a company-wide perspective to achieve overall optimization rather than partial optimization, and we are involved from planning and execution to implementation and establishment.

Position Details
Business KPI Management
-Setting, monitoring, and analyzing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for each business unit.
-Creating regular business performance reports and presenting them to executive management.
Business Strategy Support
-Market research and competitive analysis.
-Supporting the formulation of mid- to long-term business strategies.
Project Management
-Promoting projects through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities
-Promoting AI adoption and operational efficiency improvements within the company.
-Collaborating with external partners as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Ability to identify and define problems independently.
-Strong communication and coordination skills.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly and effectively.
-Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel: VLOOKUP, IFS functions, etc.).
-Ability to involve and motivate others to drive projects forward.
Desired Qualifications:
-Experience in business planning or consulting.
-MBA or Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant (中小企業診断士) certification.
-PMP certification and/or project management experience.
-Knowledge of financial and management accounting.
-Practical experience using BI tools such as DOMO.
-Experience in using AI or other technologies to improve operational efficiency.
