plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the
Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.
Department Overview
Marketing Planning Department is an organization that leads the planning of Rakuten Mobile's plans and product strategies and their implementation.
The Planning and Management Division, to which you are scheduled to be assigned, is part of the marketing department for the Rakuten Mobile business and is responsible for strategic planning and budget formulation. You will have frequent interaction with senior management, providing an environment where you can work with a broad perspective.
Position Details
We are seeking a candidate to join the marketing department at Rakuten Mobile, where you will work closely with senior management to develop strategies and formulate budgets.
Depending on your experience and skills, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Strategic Discussions with Senior Management: Based on metrics aligned with company-wide strategy, you will discuss business direction with senior management and support their decision-making.
- Driving Key Projects: Based on requests from senior management, you will lead the planning and execution of key projects directly linked to business growth.
(Examples: KPI design, local area marketing planning, business plan formulation, etc.)
- Budget Planning: You will prepare the budget for Rakuten Mobile’s Marketing Department.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Big-picture perspective and analytical skills: Someone who can adopt a management perspective, oversee the entire business, and lead data-driven, substantive discussions.
- Quick thinking and adaptability: Someone who can respond swiftly and flexibly to unexpected challenges and sudden tasks, and guide them toward a resolution.
- Relevant work experience: Someone with experience in corporate planning, management, or consulting.
- Coordination skills: As this role involves frequent interaction with other departments, you must be able to coordinate effectively.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in budgeting and data analysis
- Knowledge of accounting at the level of bookkeeping level 2
- Business English conversation skills are required.
