We are looking for a new Strategic Planner or Senior Strategic Planner to join the Infrastructure and Development group at Norfolk County Council, working within the team responsible for delivering planning input to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).
Norfolk is playing a pivotal role in delivering the power, economic growth and housing needs of the country. Critical to our success in this role is our input into the NSIPs that are planned across the County, ensuring that the full local impacts of those schemes are duly assessed and that all possible benefits are explored and maximised.
You will be an agile thinker who can quickly absorb and apply technical regulations and policy, has excellent communication and organisational skills, and has an appreciation of operating in a political environment on often contentious and complex matters. You will have a demonstrable ability to collaborate with elected members, partners, and other organisations.
