Job Description

Shape the future of cardiometabolic care by building partnerships that transform how patients access treatment. This is your chance to bridge innovation and impact, working at the intersection of private healthcare providers, telehealth platforms, and direct-to-consumer channels to bring life-changing therapies to people living with obesity and chronic diseases.

Your new role

As Strategic Partnership Manager, you'll be at the forefront of expanding how we reach and serve patients in Portugal. Your goal will be developing and managing innovative approaches to unlock new channels of care for targeted patient segments in order to expand product reach and patient access to life-changing medicines, particularly in obesity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with private stakeholders to enhance product value and patient access (e.g. direct-to-consumer services, telehealth platforms, private clinics, pharmacies, occupational health services…)
  • Negotiating partnership agreements and structuring mutually beneficial collaborations, including revenue-sharing models, joint ventures, and integration partnerships
  • Building comprehensive solutions based on customer needs
  • Monitoring partnership performance through defined KPIs including revenue contribution, lead generation, and partner engagement
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and support needed to successfully promote our solutions
  • Collaborating closely with commercial, medical, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals
  • Ensuring compliance and risk management across all partnerships, including partner assessments, due diligence, and monitoring in collaboration with Legal, Ethics, Compliance & Quality

Your new department

Within the Portugal Affiliate and reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll be part of a dynamic marketing team that's pioneering new ways to reach patients and healthcare providers. Your work will directly influence how we deliver on our mission to defeat serious chronic diseases, with a particular focus on transforming the cardiometabolic treatment landscape and improving outcomes for people living with obesity.

We're looking for someone who thrives on building relationships and turning strategic vision into tangible results. You'll bring with you:

To succeed in this position, you'll bring:

  • An academic degree Business Administration, Commercial, Life science or related field
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in partnerships building, key account management or business development, ideally within the healthcare ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of digital health platforms ecosystem, private healthcare context, pharmacy organizations, and patient journey management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing direct-to-consumer strategies and building successful partnerships in this space
  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior professionals to achieve ambitious business goals
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Base in Lisbon with availability to travel (up to 40% time)
