Strategic Partner Manager

New technologies like AI, conversational commerce, and evolving loyalty ecosystems are fundamentally transforming how people discover, decide, and pay. To help lead this shift, we are looking for a Strategic Partner Manager to join our team in Oslo!

This is a newly created role with a broad mandate and an exciting playground. You’ll explore frontier collaborations—from pioneering AI and agentic commerce initiatives to building high-impact "beyond payments" partnerships across loyalty, benefits, and platform ecosystems. You will work within a small, ambitious team where you have the freedom and support to turn novel ideas into real-world commercial impact.

What you’ll do

You’ll find, set up, and grow exciting partnerships in new areas beyond standard payments:

• Spot great partnership ideas: Find and pick the best partner opportunities in AI, smart shopping, customer loyalty, and new digital services.
• Create simple ways to work together: Define how we collaborate with non-traditional partners, including new business models and joint projects.
• Make deals happen: Structure, negotiate, and close complex partnership agreements, balancing bold commercial innovation with compliance and long-term business goals.
• Get the team on board: Team up with colleagues in product, tech, legal, and sales to turn good ideas into working products.
• Follow up and show results: Own a targeted portfolio of high-impact partnerships, establishing clear success metrics, tracking adoption, and communicating tangible results to leadership.

What you bring

You like building relationships, have a good commercial head, and enjoy making things happen:

• Partnership experience: Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or complex deal-making - ideally within fintech, platforms, tech, media, or retail.
• Curiosity about tech and shopping: Interest in how technology, such as generative AI, conversational commerce, and digital loyalty, creates new value for consumers and merchants.
• Great people skills: You easily build trust, listen well, and know how to get both external partners and internal teammates pulling in the same direction.
• Entrepreneurial drive: You don't wait for a manual - you spot what needs doing, test ideas, and enjoy building things from scratch.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
