Job Description

About the Role

As the Strategic Operations Associate - Global Member Engagement, you will bring Uber One’s engagement and retention strategy to life through campaigns, events, and partnerships that give members more reasons to ride with Uber. Your work will help drive ride frequency, deepen engagement across Uber’s businesses, and support long-term retention for our 50M+ global Uber One members.

In this individual contributor role, you will turn strategic priorities into coordinated campaign plans and manage the details that make them successful. Working closely with Regional Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, Communications, and Commercial teams, you will help deliver compelling member experiences at global scale. This role is well suited to someone who combines strong organization and analytical thinking with the ability to build relationships, navigate dependencies, and keep cross-functional teams moving toward a shared goal.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver major membership campaigns: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of key membership events, such as Member Days, from defining campaign objectives and building launch plans through coordinating delivery and conducting post-campaign reviews
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution: Bring together Regional Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, Communications, and other partners. Establish clear timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies; track readiness; and surface risks early to keep campaigns on course
  • Translate global plans into local execution: Partner with regional teams to adapt campaigns to local member needs and market conditions while maintaining shared objectives and a consistent member experience
  • Grow engagement across Uber: Develop and execute campaigns that encourage members to engage across Uber’s businesses, with a primary focus on increasing the number of members who ride and how frequently they do so
  • Bring partnerships to life: Support the development and execution of member commercial partnerships and sponsorships, coordinating offers, operational requirements, and launch activities with internal teams and external partners
  • Measure results and improve future campaigns: Partner with Analytics teams to define success measures, monitor campaign performance, and translate findings into recommendations. Build repeatable processes and playbooks that make each campaign more effective and easier to execute

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience using data to inform campaign design, track performance, and evaluate results. You can identify the insights that matter and translate them into practical improvements
  • You integrate AI into your day-to-day work to accelerate research, streamline planning and reporting, and improve execution quality, applying sound judgment to its outputs

Preferred Qualifications

  • You create concise briefs, plans, and status updates that help teams understand what needs to happen, who owns it, and when decisions or support are needed
  • You stay effective as priorities shift, identify gaps before they become blockers, and take responsibility for moving your work forward
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and action-oriented. You can turn a broad objective into a practical work plan and manage multiple workstreams from planning through completion
  • You build strong working relationships and keep stakeholders aligned across teams and regions. You are comfortable following up on commitments, resolving dependencies, and escalating issues with clear context and proposed solutions
  • Experience delivering complex, highly cross-functional campaigns, events, or product launches
  • Experience working with membership programs, subscription products, or consumer engagement and retention initiatives
  • Experience coordinating global initiatives across regional teams or international markets
  • Experience executing commercial partnerships, sponsorships, or promotional offers

About Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.

The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
