At Novo Nordisk, we are looking for a Strategic Market Access Partner who will play a key role in strengthening our institutional business while partnering with Access, Pricing, and Commercial teams to unlock growth opportunities across Central America and Andean markets.
This role combines operational excellence in tender management with a strong strategic component, shaping value propositions for our GLP‑1 portfolio in a highly dynamic and competitive environment.
About the role
As a Strategic Market Access Partner, you will act as a key connector across functions and countries, ensuring both:
End-to-end excellence in institutional tender processes, and
The development of differentiated access strategies and value propositions that drive business growth across multiple channels (institutional, private and out-of-pocket).
You will collaborate closely with regional and local teams across ~12 countries, contributing directly to expanding access and strengthening Novo Nordisk’s positioning in the GLP‑1 market.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead institutional tender excellence (≈30% of the role)
Manage end-to-end tender processes, from documentation to contract execution and delivery coordination
Ensure compliance, timelines, and operational excellence across all tender activities
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Legal, Supply, Commercial) and external partners (distributors)
Monitor execution performance, delivery commitments, and potential risks
2. Act as a strategic partner to Market Access & Commercial teams
Identify access barriers and opportunities across institutional, private, and out-of-pocket channels
Develop and adapt value propositions tailored to country, channel, and stakeholder
Leverage cross-country learnings to strengthen access strategies and maximize impact
Support business case development and strategic initiatives
3. Drive access opportunities and continuous improvement
Proactively identify growth opportunities and support their execution
Translate market insights into actionable initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally to remove barriers and accelerate execution
Capture learnings and continuously improve future strategies

We are looking for…
Must-have requirements
Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Institutional Business or Commercial Strategy (preferably within pharma/healthcare)
Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder, cross-functional processes end-to-end
Experience developing or adapting value propositions based on market needs and insights
Strong execution and operational capabilities (coordination, follow-up, delivery)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
High level of proactivity, ownership and problem-solving mindset
Nice-to-have
Experience in tender management, contracting or distributor coordination
Background in marketing, product management, or key account management
Understanding of access dynamics and payer decision drivers
Previous exposure to regional or multi-country roles
