
Strategic Initiatives Support Lead
The Opportunity:
As a Strategic Initiatives Support Lead, you will support our Army client by leading strategic alignment, policy integration, and enterprise‑level coordination across the evolving IT landscape. You will shape IT strategies that enable modernization, governance, readiness, and digital transformation. You will work directly with senior leaders to assess strategic direction, translate enterprise goals into actionable policies, and ensure initiatives remain synchronized with statutory, executive, and DoD‑wide guidance.
In this role, you will serve as a t rusted advisor to the leadership team, guiding decision‑making, producing high‑impact communications, and enabling continuous improvement across IT governance processes. You will empower stakeholders across states and mission partners by ensuring the right insights, policies, and strategic direction are clearly communicated and actionable. You Have:
10+ years of experience supporting strategic planning, policy development, governance, or enterprise IT initiatives within DoW or federal organizations
10+ years of experience analyzing directives, legislation, or enterprise IT guidance and translating them into actionable recommendations
5+ years of experience developing executive‑level communications, summaries, and briefing materials
Experience working with senior‑level stakeholders and coordinating across teams or mission partners
Ability to conduct research, synthesize findings, and drive strategic integration
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience supporting the Army National Guard, NGB, Army CIOG‑6, or similar DoW IT organizations
Experience in IT governance, portfolio management, strategic planning, or policy analysis
Experience with knowledge‑management tools, enterprise collaboration platforms, and SharePoint or Guard Knowledge environments
Experience leading or supporting enterprise‑wide initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
Ability to lead small teams, working groups, or project‑level efforts
Possession of excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
