We are a Swedish Gazelle Company — one of the country’s fastest-growing businesses — on an ambitious journey of international expansion. To support this growth, we are now seeking a Strategic Financial Controller to join our leadership team and shape the financial future of our company.

This is not a traditional finance role. As Strategic Financial Controller, you will be a key driver of our continued growth and profitability — leading financial strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and translating numbers into clear, actionable insights that guide our next phase of expansion.

Your Role

In your role, you will take full ownership of our financial operations, reporting, and long-term strategic planning. You will play a central role in building a scalable financial infrastructure that supports rapid growth while maintaining control and transparency across the business. This role has the potential to grow into a full scale CFO role with broader responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Finance function, including accounting, controlling, forecasting, and business analytics.

• Own the financial strategy — from cash flow and capital allocation to risk management and profitability optimization.

• Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes in accordance with international standards.

• Deliver clear insights into performance and growth opportunities through data-driven analysis.

• Partner with the CEO and management team to define and execute business strategy.

• Drive automation, process improvements, and financial system development for scalability and accuracy.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and build a high-performing finance team aligned with company goals.

Who You Are

You are a proactive, analytical, and commercially minded leader with a passion for growth and operational excellence. You thrive in fast-moving environments, are comfortable working both strategically and hands-on, and enjoy turning complexity into clarity.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s preferred).

• Proven experience in finance or CFO/Controller roles within high-growth or international environments.

• Strong grasp of financial management, reporting, and regulatory frameworks.

• Experience in scaling finance functions within entrepreneurial or high-growth companies.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.

• Fluency in English and Swedish

Location: The role is on-site at our office in Stockholm and on a full-time basis. We would love for you to start as soon as possible.
