Job Description

The Financial Analyst provides analytical and strategic support directly to the President & CEO and CFO of a multi-family real estate investment company. This role serves as a key resource across investments, capital markets, portfolio management, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of experience from an accounting firm or financial services environment, combined with deep proficiency in financial modeling and a strong command of AI and technology tools that enhance speed and accuracy in analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA track or CFA candidacy a plus
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience at a public accounting firm, investment bank, financial services firm, or real estate investment company
  • Prior exposure to real estate, private equity, or multi-family investment structures strongly preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and annually provide proof of auto insurance

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel proficiency required: complex financial modeling, dynamic proformas, sensitivity tables, and scenario analysis
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to improve analytical workflows, automate reporting, and surface insights
  • Proficiency with financial software and platforms (Yardi, Argus, or similar real estate platforms a plus)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM, data room management, and investor reporting platforms
