Strategic Finance Manager, Finance (Remote)

Steno is growing! We’re looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. We’re a diverse team from all over the country (and beyond) and we’re crazy about redefining the boundaries of an outdated industry.

In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to our company's growth trajectory. You will work closely with our Director of Strategic Finance and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate financial modeling and strategic financial planning.

Who are you?

You are a financial professional with a background in investment banking. You have exceptional modeling, analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills and enjoy being creative and coming up with new and innovative solutions to day-to-day business problems.

On a regular basis you will

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the company's financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
• Become a strategic partner to departments across the company to help drive data-driven decision-making..
• Manage incoming custom pricing requests and negotiations from the Sales team.
• Analyze pricing data and market trends to develop competitive pricing strategies.
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.

You’re gonna crush it if

• You have at least two years of investment banking experience or equivalent experience
• You have experience developing and maintaining a financial model from end to end
• You have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or some other related field
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You have the desire to work with a tech start up and to contribute to the growth of the company.
• You are proficient with Mac and PC and comfortable learning new systems and software; familiarity with the Google Suite will help you excel in this role.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary - $120,000 - $150,000
