📌 About the Role

Finance at Scribe isn't a back-office function — it's where the Company's biggest decisions get made. This team shapes how we allocate time, resources, and investment across the business. We are looking for someone with sharp business instincts, financial acumen, and an ownership mindset to help lead this work for our revenue org.

Scribe's Revenue Team has more than doubled in the past 6 months, and growth like this creates hard questions: Where should we be doubling down? What’s working? What's the ROI on the next dollar we spend? We’re looking for a dedicated hire to partner closely with leaders on our Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support teams who can help turn data into decisions. You’ll use financial analyses to understand our key business levers, build financial plans and operational goals, uncover and communicate insights, and identify opportunities that drive real impact.

Strategic Finance at Scribe is focused on Decision Intelligence. You’ll play a key role in enabling better, faster decision making for our sales leadership by providing trusted performance visibility, rigorous measurement frameworks, and strategic recommendations backed by data. 🛠️ What You'll Do

• Work on some of our most critical business questions, using data to influence key strategic decisions and building models with a high degree of quality and accuracy
• Define, track and report on key GTM KPIs, building dashboards, monitoring performance and communicating insights to stakeholders
• Own sales performance reviews, leading the analysis and presenting the performance story that translates into execution and accountability
• Help manage company performance against financial targets, running budget vs. actuals reviews, and partnering with leaders to understand what’s working (and what isn’t)
• Go beyond the numbers, analyzing deal patterns and close rate trends to demonstrate where we should be accelerating resources, proactively surfacing potential gaps, and working with cross-functional partners to ensure that we’re actioning on the insights that come out of your work
• Support GTM planning cycles, helping run ARR forecasting, headcount and capacity analysis, territory and quota modeling, and more
• Lean into automation, developing and maintaining GTM reporting infrastructure (leveraging Sigma and Snowflake). Use AI to automate data pulls, draft commentary, and flag anomalies

🔍 What We're Looking For

• You've spent 2+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, and you're ready to own outcomes rather than support them
• You build models that hold up to scrutiny, and you catch the error in the spreadsheet before anyone else does
• You have working knowledge of GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition, and can speak fluently to how the numbers connect to the business
• You write and speak clearly enough that leadership trusts the story behind your numbers, not just the numbers themselves
• When something in the data looks off, you go find out why instead of waiting to be told to look into it. This team is still being built, not run off an existing playbook, and you're comfortable with that
• You're genuinely excited about AI tooling and actively building it into how you work: using AI to write SQL queries more efficiently, automating the routine portions of reporting, drafting commentary. We use Claude heavily across the finance team and we want someone who'll push that further.

✨ Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Sigma and/or Snowflake
• Genuine fluency using AI tools, particularly Claude, to speed up modeling and reporting
• Background at a high-growth SaaS company at a similar stage to Scribe today

📍 Location

Hybrid. Based in San Francisco. We work from the office 3 days per week.

💰 Compensation

Salary varies by location. All full-time employees receive equity in Scribe. Final offers depend on experience and scope.
