Returns & Take-Back Operations Process Lead (Global)
We are seeking a high-impact Returns & Take-Back Operations Process Lead to drive global process governance, execution discipline, and continuous improvement across the returns and take-back ecosystem. This role is central to ensuring Plan of Record (POR) tracking, accelerating AI and automation initiatives, and delivering measurable cost savings.
You will operate at the intersection of Operations, IT, and Finance—enabling transparency, alignment, and performance across regions (NA, EMEA, LATAM, APJ).
Key Responsibilities
- Drive POR Governance & Execution
- Own IT POR tracking and reporting for Returns and Take-Back initiatives
- Serve as focal point for POR reviews, ensuring clear agendas, progress tracking, and follow-through
- Provide leadership visibility into milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Drive alignment between operational priorities and IT roadmaps
- Lead AI & Automation Innovation Funnel
- Build and manage a pipeline of AI and automation ideas across operations
- Partner with business and IT teams to prioritize, pilot, and scale solutions
- Track implementation progress and quantify business impact (efficiency, cost, cycle time)
- Promote adoption of digital capabilities to improve execution and decision-making
- Deliver Cost Savings & Value Capture
- Identify and prioritize cost reduction opportunities across returns and take-back processes
- Develop data-driven business cases and implementation roadmaps
- Drive end-to-end execution and ensure realization of savings
- Partner with Finance to validate and report financial impact
- Enable Cross-Functional & Global Alignment
- Act as a global process owner, ensuring standardization across regions
- Collaborate with Returns Ops, IT, Finance, and Category teams to drive alignment and execution
- Remove roadblocks and accelerate decision-making across stakeholders
Strengthen Performance & Reporting
- Define and monitor key operational KPIs (cycle time, cost efficiency, recovery performance)
- Ensure consistent, actionable reporting that drives accountability
- Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiative
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in returns, supply chain, or operations program management
- Proven track record managing cross-functional, global initiatives
Strong experience in process governance, IT program coordination, or digital transformation
Demonstrated success delivering cost savings and operational improvements
Ability to translate strategy into execution and drive measurable outcomes - Key Skills
