In This Role, You Will
As a Strategic Customer Management Lead at DFDS, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic customers, driving new business opportunities, contract renewals, and customer retention. You will build strong relationships with key decision-makers, lead commercial and tender activities, and collaborate across functions to deliver customer-focused solutions that support both client success and DFDS’ growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Generates new opportunities and enhance the commercial pipeline aligned with the business plan
Target additional business, contract renewals, and new customer acquisition with a focus on strategic products and markets.
Responsible for managing the entire customer relationship within the Key Account Portfolio, ensuring strong connections with client decision-makers.
Oversees sales activities to meet goals, develops solutions based on clients' needs, and identifies tender opportunities, ensuring competitive submissions.
Coordinates closely with internal and external partners in the tender process, drives sales performance, updates reporting systems, and adheres to commitments to grow client spending.
Facilitates SOP implementation, collaborates globally for superior service, monitors operations through KPIs, addresses service issues, and ensures data integrity and prompt billing.
Regularly meet with stakeholders to identify and fix current and potential errors, and ensure improvements are made
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in related fields,
Able to deeply build an understanding of Key Account customers’ strategic intent and current position, thereafter identifying further opportunities for partnership
Good command of English, both written and spoken,
Build strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally.
Strong business judgement,proven ability to influence others.
Self-motivated, result driven and can be counted on to exceed goals successfully
Strong communication skills and highly developed persuasiveness,
Able to undertake challenges and take the initiative
Analytical, strong planning, presentation and organizational skills.
