This sub family is responsible for developing and delivering the organization’s internal communication strategy to ensure employees receive clear and relevant information. Duties may include providing research and assistance with implementation of community policies and guidance. Employees may also support business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements. Influences development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results. Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of function strategy and operations. Leads and manages works of other technical staff that has significant impact on project results/outputs. Resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. Develops solutions that are highly innovative and achieved through research and integration of best practices. Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project.

Basic Requirements:

  • Make recommendations to aid sponsor decision-making, to include proposed strategies; identify goals, capability and performance direction, and dependencies; develop the strategic framework and priorities and ensure the team understands big picture direction
  • Assist government clients with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to the senior-level executives
  • Communicate technical topics in a non-technical manner to senior-level audiences
  • Extensive experience in collaboration across multiple entities

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • Requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Experience may be exchanged for degree requirements.
  • Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills
  • Familiarity with portfolio, program, and project management discipline
  • Familiarity with planning, programing, Budgeting, and execution discipline
  • Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills Provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Produce deliverables in multiple formats as needed (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation
  • Provide inputs for system descriptions, group relevance and other pertinent information to share with potential users and stakeholders
  • Assist with outreach and planning

Pay Range:

Pay Range $105,300.00 - $190,350.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
