ALBS is an Air Liquide entity in Kuala Lumpur, regrouping for the APAC scope its Business Service Centers (Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai) as well as the two Global Functions (IT, Digital and Procurement). We are seeking a Strategic Communications Head to serve as the lead architect for our regional narrative. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, shape our corporate narrative, drive employee engagement and act as the guardian of the brand. You will be empowered with the autonomy to define our regional tone of voice and the authority to guide and refine executive messaging to ensure it aligns with employee sentiment and our unique culture.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Executive Advisory & Presence: Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, providing "horizon planning" to anticipate communication needs and ghostwriting for senior executives to build a consistent "Leadership Voice" for internal and external events.
  • Change Management: Lead communication strategies for organizational changes, ensuring all messages are delivered with empathy, clarity, and speed.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Translate high-level Cluster Strategic Plans into actionable communication roadmaps that make global goals relevant to daily operations.
  • Campaign & Channel Innovation: Design creative initiatives to motivate a multi-cultural workforce while overseeing regional intranets and identifying new AI or video tools to reach non-desk employees.
  • Editorial Excellence: Act as the regional "Editor-in-Chief," simplifying technical jargon into human-centric stories and ensuring 100% brand integrity across all visual and verbal identity.
  • Event Leadership: Direct the end-to-end content strategy and coordination for flagship programs, including annual summits and leadership meetings.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Establish KPIs for engagement and sentiment analysis, delivering regular reports to the Group to pivot strategies based on data.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Degree in Mass Communications or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations or roles centred on Strategy, Influence and Engagement
  • Highly digitally savvy with strong knowledge of modern communication tools and the latest industry trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A self-directed professional responsible for setting their own rhythm and consistently meeting deadlines
