Where the team fits in

The Strategic Communications Designer role sits within the Corporate Affairs team. The primary focus of Corporate Affairs at REA Group is to positively impact the organisation’s brand and reputation. Corporate Affairs has a dedicated program of activity to support the delivery of the Group’s strategic priorities and objectives. This role will support in the delivery of the overarching Corporate Affairs strategy, with a specific focus on strategic communications graphic design aimed at positively influencing key stakeholders, across investors, media, industry, customers and consumers.

You will lead the brand design function for REA Group’s corporate brand externally and internally. A key focus will be the production of superior standard designed presentations for a variety of high-profile corporate initiatives including financial reporting, investor and executive and strategy presentations. As the key visual creative member of the Corporate Affairs team, you will also contribute to corporate digital channels, internal communications and will support the visual creative objectives of many teams across the business.

What the role is all about

  • Lead the design aspect of high-profile investor and shareholder presentations including financial results reporting and the Annual General Meeting in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

  • Support the strategy team with design of high profile strategy presentations.

  • Develop creative material for REA Group’s corporate digital channels and internal channels.

  • Ensure brand compliance across the Group: Supporting team members who are representing REA at high profile external events ensuring design collateral is of high standard.

  • Support teams around the business with the design of various presentations.

  • Collaborate with the REA Group’s broader design community to ensure consistency in the Group’s brand and style.

  • Develop and own brand style guides for the corporate REA Group brand.

Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in similar roles.

  • Conceptual design skills with the ability to think strategically and not just aesthetically.

  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of corporate communications and strategy.

  • Experience with investor relations, annual reports, representing data visually or ASX-listed company communications is highly beneficial.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing brand style guides.

  • Strong relationship management skills and previous experience working with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

  • Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and prioritises well as things change.

  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating an agile environment.​
