We are seeking a Strategic Commercial Analyst in our Lakeland office. This person is responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing customer-specific catalogs, assortments, pricing, and digital content across internal and external procurement portals and digital marketplaces such as Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly, Driven Brands, and other strategic accounts.

This role serves as a key operational partner to Strategic Account Managers by analyzing customer product requirements, supporting RFP responses, and ensuring customer catalogs are accurate, competitive, and aligned with strategic account objectives. The individual will leverage data, reporting, and market insights to support customer-specific catalog strategies, drive revenue growth, improve customer adoption, and enhance overall program performance.

The position plays a critical role in supporting digital procurement solutions, punchout integrations, customer-specific catalog publishing, and strategic account initiatives while leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer product portfolios, purchasing behavior, and market opportunities to identify assortment gaps, expansion opportunities, pricing considerations, and recommendations that drive customer growth and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Support Strategic Account Managers with customer RFPs, program implementations, catalog submissions, pricing requests, and customer-specific assortment analyses.
  • Evaluate customer assortment opportunities and recommend catalog additions, rationalizations, pricing updates, and content improvements aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of customer-facing catalog content, including descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and product attributes across internal and external systems.
  • Analyze customer purchasing trends, catalog performance, and assortment opportunities to identify recommendations that improve customer adoption and strategic account growth.
  • Identify and resolve data gaps, pricing discrepancies, and catalog issues that impact customer experience, purchasing decisions, or program execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and IT to support customer implementations, digital procurement initiatives, and ongoing catalog optimization.
  • Track customer catalog changes and maintain organized documentation of customer-specific publishing standards, RFP requirements, assortment strategies, and pricing updates.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to research customer opportunities, analyze product portfolios and catalog performance, support strategic initiatives, optimize customer assortments, and enhance data-driven decision-making while maintaining appropriate data quality and governance.
  • Develop reporting and provide analytical insights to support strategic account planning, customer reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, automation, and data governance within customer catalog management and strategic account processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with product catalogs, item attributes, or customer-facing product data
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across several customer programs simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience supporting strategic accounts, marketplaces, or procurement portals
  • Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems or ERP platforms
  • Experience working with customer-specific catalogs, digital commerce platforms or marketplace integrations
  • Understanding of assortment strategy or category optimization concepts
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically, with a data-driven mentality.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics/reporting platforms.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in product data management, eCommerce, digital catalog management, or program coordination
