Strategic Change Lead

  • Fixed Term, 12 Months - Full time 36.5 hours
  • Hybrid (Milton Keynes, 2-3 days per week)
  • £45,000 pa

As we enter an exciting new chapter, we are launching our three-year strategy (FY27-FY29), a bold programme designed to strengthen our impact, grow our influence, and ensure we remain fit for the future. To help us deliver this transformation, we are looking for an exceptional Strategic Change Lead to play a pivotal role in turning strategic ambition into sustainable organisational change.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Programme Director, this is an opportunity for a highly skilled change professional to lead the people side of our strategic transformation across the organisation. Working alongside senior leaders, project owners, People & Culture, Internal Communications and colleagues across World Vision UK, you will design and embed our approach to change management, ensuring that new ways of working are not only introduced but fully understood, embraced and sustained.

What you’ll do

  • Establish a practical change framework.
  • Build and support a network of change champions.
  • Equip leaders to lead change confidently.
  • Create engaging communications, tools and training that help colleagues navigate change successfully.
  • Use data, insight and feedback to measure adoption, monitor readiness, and continually improve our approach.

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience leading complex organisational change programmes.
  • Strong project or programme management expertise.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
  • A passion for helping people thrive through change and the ability to build trust and momentum across all levels of an organisation.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Change leadership: Significant experience leading complex organisational change, from impact assessment and communication to adoption.
  • Project or programme delivery: Experience delivering cross-functional plans, governance, risks, resources, milestones and reporting.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Experience building change champion networks, engaging stakeholders, coaching leaders and strengthening internal capability.
  • Tools and learning: Experience creating change tools, communications, workshops, training and adoption measures for varied audiences.
  • Adaptability: Sound judgement, strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to pace, ambiguity and changing priorities.
