Job Description

The compensation for this position is between $81,300 and $101,600 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

The objective of this role is to apply data analytics and mathematical modeling to support capacity management and optimize production allocation within the North American manufacturing network. The role is responsible for leveraging network optimization software to develop models and provide data‑driven recommendations on production allocation, manufacturing capacity utilization, and long‑term capacity strategy. These insights will drive end‑to‑end cost savings, improve service levels, and strengthen supply resilience. The position involves collecting and analyzing operational data, identifying existing or potential issues, evaluating the implications of alternative actions, and supporting informed decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environment / Quality

• Support implementation of the Divisional HS&E strategy, ensure site accountability, and report progress, events, and initiatives to the Divisional Leadership Team and COSO.

Manufacturing Excellence

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Planning, Engineering, and Finance to develop and implement North America–wide network design and process improvement initiatives.

• Collect, cleanse, validate, and integrate datasets from manufacturing, supply chain, and financial systems to deliver insights on end‑to‑end network performance and develop decision‑support models.

• Use network modeling and optimization software to create and evaluate scenarios related to product allocation, production capacities, and network capabilities, identifying improvement opportunities.

• Visualize and communicate analytical findings in a clear and impactful way to support decision‑making.

• Evaluate the impact of changes in product portfolio, demand, distribution models, service levels, raw material supply, labor availability, and equipment efficiency on network KPIs.

• Support integration of network planning recommendations into production planning and scheduling processes in collaboration with the Supply Planning team.

About IPEX by Aliaxis

Honesty, fairness, integrity, the golden rule: a customer-first culture. Customers want it- even demand it. And it’s so easy to promise.

This is ‘distance race’ thinking, and building a business on it is harder than you might think. It requires you to sacrifice many short-term opportunities for gain. It means spending whatever time it takes to help a client solve a problem on deadline. It means resisting the urge to cut corners on materials that, once in place, no one will ever see.

It means innovation: going beyond what your customers want or expect, and working restlessly to create new products and ideas to fill unmet needs. It means keeping your word, even when it’s inconvenient, and honouring relationships over transactions, even when it costs. And it means building a team with people who believe it, live it, and stand by it.

At IPEX we’ve long-since made a decision to embrace this long-term thinking, not just when it’s easy, but every day, in everything we do, for every customer and every employee. We don’t do it because we’re nice people, though we like to think we are. We do it because it’s good business, and that the reputation we’ve built over time, job by job, one customer at a time, pays the best dividends.
