Job Description

  • Strategic Procurement of Indirect Materials and Services for the SWARCO ITS Division
  • Identifying and selecting new suppliers and partners, as well as realizing synergy and optimization potential within the existing supplier portfolio
  • Preparing and conducting requests for proposals
  • Conducting price and contract negotiations, as well as participating in award decisions and contract execution
  • Cross-functional collaboration with international branches to coordinate strategic procurement activities and define and implement medium- and long-term strategy
  • Optimization of existing procurement processes, particularly with regard to digitalization and efficiency improvements
  • Managing and participation in international purchasing and procurement projects

Qualifications

  • Completed commercial studies, technical understanding of advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally with a focus on indirect procurement
  • Experience with complex or international procurement projects
  • Analytical mindset and an independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Strong internal customer and service orientation
  • Strong negotiation skills, as well as a high degree of independence and assertiveness
  • Very good MS Office skills; experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and English for collaboration in an international environment

We offer an attractive and performance-based salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. This salary is significantly higher than the collective bargaining agreement for employees in trade, crafts, and the service sector.
