About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Strategic Business Manager to join the Strategy & Portfolio team in Core Networks in BA Cloud Software and Services and help position Intelligent Core at the center of this transformation and shape the next growth chapter.

This role is for someone who combines strong strategic thinking with an ability to turn ideas into action. You will work on some of the most important questions shaping our future: Where will new growth come from? How are AI, cloud and emerging technologies changing our industry? Where can Ericsson create differentiated value? And how do we translate those opportunities into concrete business initiatives?

We are interested in candidates with strong strategy and business experience from technology, consulting, cloud, software, digital infrastructure, telecom, or other relevant industries who are curious about how technology is reshaping markets. Telecom expertise is welcome but not cumpolsury.

You will work across strategy, portfolio, customers and ecosystem partners, with exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to influence future business direction.

What You Will Do

• Identify new value pools enabled by AI, 6G, Non Terrestral Networks, Autonomous Networks, and emerging technologies for Intelligent Core.
• Translate complex market and technology developments into clear strategic choices, business opportunities, actions and recommendations.
• Develop strategic partnerships with CSPs, hyperscalers, enterprises, software providers, and ecosystem players.
• Shape and validate new business models, ecosystem plays, and commercialization pathways.
• Secure lighthouse engagements and incubate opportunities from concept to business case and market validation.
• Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and strategic recommendations to influence portfolio and investment decisions.
• Lead strategic studies, market forecasting, and growth analyses supporting long-term business planning.

What Skills You Bring

• Proven experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, platform ecosystems, product marketing or venture building.
• Strong understanding of AI, cloud, telecommunications, software platforms, or digital infrastructure markets.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technology innovation into customer value and commercial growth.
• Experience building ecosystems and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and uncertainty with a pioneering and entrepreneurial mindset.
