About the role | Strategic Business Analyst with a Nordic SAP FI and finance focus

As Strategic Business Analyst you have a solid knowledge of finance processes, finance ways of working, and the systems supporting these processes, especially SAP FI. You support the business in refining and describing EPIC’s while clarifying uncertainties and describing both functional and non-functional requirements on EPIC level. As Strategic Business Analyst you participate in Epic maturation workshops, refinements and plannings. You assist in scoping and analyzing business needs, describe acceptance criteria’s to guide the development efforts in close collaboration with business units, architects and bridge between business, the technical team and relevant stakeholders whenever relevant.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Scope, analyze business needs and break down EPIC’s
• Describe acceptance criteria’s to guide development efforts
• Ensure requirements are adhering to legal and compliant demands from both business and IT perspective
• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers and architects, ensuring that business needs are correctly understood, developed and implemented
• Assist on documenting findings, decisions, and requirements clearly and concisely
• Serve as a bridge between business users and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and facilitation collaboration across organizational boundaries
• Identify, communicate and facilitate dependencies between different business processes

The role as Strategic Business Analyst is a Nordic role based in Ballerup. We currently work from the office in Ballerup 3-4 days per week.

About you | Combining business understanding with technical insight

You are motivated by working in an environment where business and technology meet. You enjoy scoping business needs, creating structure, driving progress, and bringing people together around a common requirement. You have experience with finance work processes, analysing business needs and translating into well described requirements.

We imagine that you bring:

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes
• Solid knowledge with SAP, particularly SAP FI
• Experience as a Strategic Business Analyst, Business Analyst or similar role
• Are comfortable working in a complex system landscape
• Have experience working in agile environments
• A structured approach to your tasks, deadlines and knowledge sharing
• Comfortable with English both written and spoken as business language
• Able to speak and write a Nordic language is an advantage but not a requirement

Experience with SAP FS-CD, BW, PI/PO, CPI, Concur, or Ariba is considered an advantage but is not required.

About us | A collaborative Nordic environment

As a Strategic Business Analyst, you will join Enterprise Solutions within Business IT Development (BID), where we develop and maintain a range of business-critical Finance and HR systems.

Our team consists of approximately 11 internal colleagues working closely with strategic partners across the Nordic region. Together, we support a complex finance landscape centred around SAP and integrated with many of Tryg's core business systems.
