Lead cross-functional pursuit and deal teams on large (typically $5M+ TCV) global, multi-country deals. Develop compelling win strategies and high-quality proposals to outperform competitors.In RFX scenarios, the Strategic Bid Manager owns the end-to-end tendering process and content. Deals span the full Xerox portfolio, including MPS, CES, and CCS. This is a hybrid role that requires candidates to be within a commutable distance to Budapest.
Language Requirement:
Fluency in Spanish and English (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
Lead virtual deal teams (Sales, Technical Architects, Commercial, Service Delivery, SMEs) through to contract award, signing, and transition handover
Achieve targets: 40% win rate for new business (by value) and 90% for renewals
Lead development of best-in-class proposals, assigning responsibilities and ensuring consistency and clarity of messaging
Develop and manage bid development project plans, including setback schedules, ensuring deadlines are met with time for iteration and high-quality output
Build robust business cases and determine “price to win” using available tools and resources
Ensure strong contracting risk management aligned with global governance and corporate requirements
Contribute materials to the Xerox bid management knowledge base and track performance/dashboard metrics throughout the deal lifecycle
Drive continuous improvement in bid management processes and global governance practices
Improve profitability and reduce bid costs through reuse, best practices, and knowledge sharing
Provide expert support on bid management issues, including root-cause analysis and corrective action follow-through
Identify and communicate resource requirements to support broader resourcing plans and prioritization of bids and projects
Monitor bid status to ensure ongoing commercial viability and implement contingency actions when needed
Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory)
Bid management experience is advantageous; customer-facing experience is essential
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
Service delivery management
Sales or sales management
Commercial management
Bid management in other organizations
Proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
Strong problem-solving skills in complex, high-risk, high-visibility pursuits
Strong business acumen
Ability to perform and lead effectively under pressure
Experience selling service value propositions at C-level
Ability to work collaboratively and lead within a matrix organization
University degree required
Professional certifications (e.g., PMI, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus
