
Duties: Translate customer data into insights that inform lending exposure management strategies. Develop segmentation based on internal and external attributes to identify opportunities, drive targeting strategies, and measure portfolio performance. Collaborate with marketing, risk, lending operations, and finance partners to assess credit risk and exposure across customer segments. Align exposure management strategies to minimize losses while balancing risk and reward. Partner with risk analytics to identify new approaches that support profitable growth with appropriate risk strategies. Forecast P&L impacts of risk initiatives. Measure strategy and campaign performance and present results and recommendations to senior leadership. Manage team activities by reviewing tasks, providing feedback, and attending stakeholder meetings as needed. Conduct knowledge sessions to enhance skills and prioritize responsibilities to ensure equitable workload distribution. Oversee recruitment and performance management, including goal setting, evaluations, and appraisals for direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems Management, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics, Portfolio Risk Manager, Business Analytics Specialist, Management Associate, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Strategic Analytics, Portfolio Risk Manager, Business Analytics Specialist, Management Associate, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Conducting strategic and business analysis using data analytics to generate actionable insights; Performing data manipulation, structuring, and statistical analysis using SQL, SAS, and Python; Extracting datasets using Python on platforms including Teradata and Snowflake on AWS; Summarizing and analyzing data using decision trees, clustering, segmentation analysis, linear regression, logistic regression, and predictive modeling; Analyzing profit and loss drivers and developing actionable business recommendations using Excel functionalities, including data analysis add-ons and pivot tables; Manipulating and visualizing data using Tableau; Tracking and reporting business results by translating technical details into business- friendly language.
