Strategic Accounts Manager – National GPO / IDN
(Could live anywhere with convenient access to large/major airport)
I’m partnering with a growth-stage regenerative medicine / tissue technology company to recruit a Strategic Accounts Manager with deep experience across national GPOs and large IDNs.
This is a high-visibility, national role focused on building and expanding enterprise relationships with Vizient, Premier, and HealthTrust (HPG) and aligning national contracts with field execution.
This individual will act as the senior commercial interface between the company and key national accounts—owning strategy, contracts, and long-term alignment across complex hospital systems.
What You’ll Do
Lead senior-level relationships with Vizient, Premier, and HealthTrust
Develop and execute national contracting strategies (access, formulary inclusion, compliance)
Negotiate enterprise agreements in partnership with legal, finance, and executive leadership
Serve as primary contact for select IDNs and health systems
Support value analysis, conversion, and utilization initiatives
Translate national agreements into actionable plans for the field
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Market Access, and Operations
Drive growth within existing accounts and support new product introductions
The Right Background
7+ years in medical device / biologics / healthcare, with direct GPO or national accounts experience
Hands-on work with Vizient, Premier, and/or HealthTrust
Proven success managing complex enterprise contracts
Strong understanding of hospital procurement and value analysis
Experience in wound care, surgical, biologics, or regenerative medicine is a plus
