Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their AI Transformation journey. This team is responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.

As an Account Technology Strategist, you will work with senior leaders at leading banks, insurers, and pension providers to shape their AI and technology transformation agenda. You will connect business priorities with Microsoft Cloud and AI innovation, influencing strategic decisions and driving industry-changing outcomes.

As a Strategic Account Technology Strategist, you will take the lead in translating the customer’s business priorities into a viable technology strategy and roadmap encompassing Microsoft’s portfolio of solutions. In collaboration with an Enterprise Account Executive, you will orchestrate the Microsoft and partner team to develop technology leadership and excellence to your customers. You will bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customers to securely adopt and embrace AI technologies. With a proven history of innovating technical solutions to achieve customers’ business objectives and achieving account growth targets, this role will give you the opportunity to combine your technology and industry knowledge to deliver on secure AI solutions to accelerate your customers’ AI vision and to ultimately become their trusted technology advisor.

Responsibilities

• Customer AI and Security Strategy Leadership - Document and articulate the customer’s business objectives, technology landscape and AI and Security strategy to lead and drive security and AI conversations.
• Customer Technology Leadership - Develop and nurture trusted relationships with C-level technology executives across the business.
• Drive Operational and Commercial Excellence- Lead technical decision maker conversations and governance with the customer and the v team to ensure the customer is using and getting value from Microsoft’s portfolio of solutions.
• Engage deeply with the customers using consultative selling skills and challenge customers’ assumptions with constructive dialogue about their business and technology.
• Industry Knowledge Articulate and understand specific industry-related market trends, as well as customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth as they relate to the customer's broader industry.

Qualifications

• Executive stakeholder engagement with proven ability to influence CIO, CTO, CISO, and business leadership teams.
• Deep expertise in AI, Generative AI, Security, and Cloud transformation strategies within regulated Financial Services environments.
• Strong consultative selling and strategic advisory skills, translating business challenges into technology-driven outcomes.
• Preference for Financial Services industry background and experience, especially banking, regulatory compliance, risk management, and digital transformation trends.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and leadership capabilities, with experience leading complex, cross-functional customer engagements.

Strategic Account Technology IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 86,300.00 - € 170,800.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
