What you’ll be doing
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be the primary guardian and growth driver of our most valuable merchant relationships. Reporting directly to the Strategic Partnership Director, you will act as the bridge between Satispay’s long-term vision and our partners' operational success. You will own the end-to-end relationship for a boutique portfolio of 4-5 top-tier global accounts (e.g., Amazon). Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
Strategic Portfolio Management – By serving as the dedicated C-level point of contact for Satispay’s most influential partners, managing complex, multi-layer international relationships and decision-making processes.
Strategic Growth & Planning – By developing and executing multi-year account plans to drive transaction volumes, optimise UX through internal campaigns, and explore international expansion opportunities.
Product Innovation & Integration – By identifying opportunities for deeper integration, such as the adoption of new features (BNPL, Fringe Benefits) or pioneering new business ventures like co-branded cards and loyalty program synergies.
Relationship Orchestration – By acting as the owner of your portfolio, coordinating across Product, Marketing, Legal, and Tech teams. You will ensure the right internal stakeholders are brought into the conversation at the right time to solve partner needs.
Collaboration with Leadership – by working closely with the Strategic Partnership Director and the Key Account team to align account goals with company milestones, ensuring active participation in KAM and Partnership strategic meetings.
Retention & Data-Driven Advocacy – by maintaining a "zero-churn" mindset, anticipating challenges, delivering high-level troubleshooting and using complex data sets to prove ROI through Quarterly Business Reviews that demonstrate Satispay’s tangible value.
Who we’re looking for
We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. For this high-stakes role, we are looking for a professional who can navigate the complexities of global partnerships with a long-term vision. Does this sound like you?
Strategic Account Management – 10+ years of experience in managing seven-figure, high-complexity global accounts. You have a proven track record in Fintech, Payments, or High-Growth Tech environments.
Complex Negotiation & Contract Management – Expert ability to lead high-stakes negotiations and manage intricate contractual frameworks, ensuring win-win deals for both Satispay and the merchant.
Analytical & Strategic Mindset – You don't just solve problems; you identify the root cause and build frameworks to prevent them. You think in terms of ecosystems and use data to drive growth and product implementation.
Expertise in Payment Infrastructure – Deep understanding of the payments industry, competitive landscape, and technical solutions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business cases for C-level executives (CFO/CMO).
Cross-functional Leadership & Orchestration – Exceptional ability to lead internal project teams and coordinate multiple departments, ensuring alignment and avoiding silos through proactive communication.
International Stakeholder Management – Proven experience in navigating international corporate structures and influencing decision-makers across different regions and layers of an organisation.
