Job Description

Position Summary:

Conair Hospitality is seeking a Senior Manager, Hospitality Sales to lead profitable growth across an assigned portfolio of strategic hospitality distribution partners while helping shape the future growth strategy of the hospitality business.

This senior sales role expands key distribution relationships, increases market penetration, develops new channel partners, influences hotel specifications, and creates sustained demand across hotel brands, ownership groups, management companies, procurement organizations, GPOs, and distribution partners.

The role shares responsibility for Conair Hospitality's distribution portfolio with an existing Senior Sales Manager. The two leaders will divide account ownership, deepen relationships across commercial and executive teams, and maintain coordinated coverage without account ambiguity.

The position will also identify and develop mid-market distribution partners and, with the VP of Sales, build and maintain a Total Addressable Market framework by segment and tier to guide prioritization, resource allocation, and scalable growth.

Success will be measured by profitable distribution growth, market development, specification wins, RFP performance, pipeline conversion, and the quality of strategic direction provided to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own revenue, gross margin, profitability, and sustainable growth across an assigned portfolio of hospitality distribution partners.
  • Develop annual account plans covering revenue, profitability, category penetration, relationship coverage, pipeline, and growth objectives.
  • Establish multi-level relationships across distributor sales, procurement, marketing, business development, strategy, operations, and executive leadership teams.
  • Lead recurring business reviews focused on performance, opportunities, market trends, strategic initiatives, investments, risks, and accountable next steps.
  • Develop strategies that increase Conair Hospitality's influence across hotel brands, ownership groups, management companies, procurement organizations, and other key hospitality stakeholders.
  • Create pull-through demand by securing preference and specification upstream, then coordinating distribution partners to convert opportunities into fulfilled revenue.
  • Map decision-makers, influencers, procurement paths, approved products, and fulfillment partners within priority hospitality organizations.
  • Identify underserved distribution channels, coverage gaps, and emerging hospitality market opportunities; evaluate and activate targeted mid-market distribution partners.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales and hospitality sales leadership to develop and maintain a comprehensive hospitality Total Addressable Market framework.
  • Translate TAM analysis into account priorities, coverage recommendations, resource allocation, and go-to-market actions.
  • Lead hospitality RFP and strategic project opportunities from qualification through submission, follow-up, award, and fulfillment coordination.
  • Maintain documented pipelines for specifications, RFPs, development, renovation, conversion, and replacement opportunities, including value, stage, decision process, probability, fulfillment path, risk, and timing.
  • Develop productive relationships with relevant hospitality GPOs, procurement firms, and purchasing organizations, including organizations such as Avendra.
  • Evaluate the commercial return and strategic value of proposed GPO and procurement programs before recommending participation or investment.
  • Coordinate closely with the existing Senior Sales Manager and VP of Sales to maintain clear account ownership, consistent customer communication, disciplined opportunity ownership, and complementary market coverage.
  • Align internal resources across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Operations, and executive leadership around strategic priorities and customer commitments.
  • Present concise, decision-ready recommendations that articulate opportunity, financial impact, risk, required investment, and next steps.
  • Travel nationally as required to support customers, projects, industry events, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive hospitality sales, manufacturing, distribution, procurement, hotel operations, business development, or related commercial leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex hospitality distribution relationships and delivering profitable revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of hotel purchasing decisions, including brand standards, ownership influence, management-company requirements, procurement processes, property needs, and distribution fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing hospitality RFP responses, product specifications, strategic projects, and conversion from opportunity to realized revenue.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in market sizing, TAM development, segmentation, account economics, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to identify, recruit, activate, and grow distribution relationships in underserved markets or customer segments.
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across complex customer organizations, distribution partners, and internal teams.
  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance revenue opportunity, margin, investment, channel strategy, and long-term customer value.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple strategic accounts, RFPs, specifications, projects, partnerships, and executive deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling for a hospitality manufacturer and working with major distribution partners.
  • Direct experience within a hotel brand, ownership group, management company, or hotel operating environment.
  • Working knowledge of hospitality GPOs and procurement organizations, including experience with Avendra or comparable organizations.
  • Residence in a major metropolitan market, with preference for a West Coast location.
