The Strategic Account Associate role is a position that sits within Equitable Distributors, specifically focused on relationship management for third party firms that distribute Equitable's variable annuity products.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • The Strategic Account Associate works alongside the team of Strategic Account Managers to support the organization's most important third-party distribution partners, is independently responsible for supporting a small set of developing partners and is responsible for responding as needed to a much larger set of distribution partners.
  • Additional responsibilities include new firm onboarding and operational/product shelf maintenance for the broad universe of distribution partners.
  • The Strategic Account Associate will also act as the liaison between the broader Strategic Account team and various internal teams (i.e. Compliance, Finance, Sales Desk).
  • The support functions of the role will entail presentation development, data analysis, report delivery and conference support. Some travel will be required.


The base salary for this position is $65,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of annuity distribution experience
  • FINRA registration: Series 6 & 63
  • Resident Life and Variable Insurance Licenses
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Highly organized
  • High level of computer proficiency
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and multi-task
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a cohesive team and autonomously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
