私たちは、AIロボットの社会実装を、基盤モデルの開発を通じて実現することを使命として、2024年末に設立された一般社団法人です。

4年間で総額205億円のNEDOプロジェクトを通してロボット基盤モデルを完成させ、世界へ展開していくことを目標としています。

About AIRoA

The AI Robot Association (AIRoA) is a general incorporated association established in late 2024 with a mission to enable the real-world deployment of AI robots through the development of foundation models.

Through a four-year NEDO project with a total budget of JPY 20.5 billion, we aim to complete the development of robot foundation models and expand their use worldwide.

現在、当協会ではデータ収集とロボット汎用基盤モデルの開発を進めています。今後この取り組みを更に強化する上で、AIロボットとその近接分野に関わる規格・標準化への取り組みは避けて通れません。

産業の発達、それに伴うサプライチェーン成立の過程において、特定技術に関連する規格・標準化が整備されることは、多くの産業でおこる現象だと理解しています。

AIロボットにおいてもまた、従来からのロボット分野に加えて、AIロボットに関する協調領域の規格・標準化が促進されるものだと想定しています。

本ポジションでは、国内外の規格・標準化の進捗を把握し、関係者と連携して起案の検討までを担っていただける方を募集します。

Position Overview

AIRoA is collecting data and developing general-purpose robot foundation models. As we further advance these efforts, active participation in standards development and standardization activities related to AI robotics and adjacent fields is essential.

We recognize that, across many industries, the development of technology-specific standards accompanies industrial growth and the formation of supply chains. We expect a similar process in AI robotics, building on existing standardization activities in robotics while advancing standardization in areas where industry-wide coordination is needed.

We are seeking an International Standardization Lead who can monitor developments in Japan and internationally and work with relevant stakeholders to explore opportunities for proposing new standards.

【業務内容（例）】

・JIS・IEC・ISO等の規格原案を読み、技術コメント、修正文案の回答等の作成

・JIS・IEC・ISO等の規格原案の作成、それに必要な情報収集、関係者の調整

・AIロボット分野にかかる国際規格・標準化の動向と、当協会の戦略との統合

・会員企業が考えるオープン＆クローズ戦略を理解し、関係者の調整、連携の促進

・上記に関連して、重要な事案に関しての政府渉外、政策提言等の推進

Key Responsibilities (Examples)

• Review draft JIS, IEC, ISO, and other standards, and prepare responses, including technical comments and proposed revisions.
• Develop draft JIS, IEC, ISO, and other standards, including gathering the necessary information and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Monitor international standards and standardization trends in AI robotics and incorporate relevant developments into AIRoA’s strategic planning.
• Understand member companies’ open-and-closed strategies for technology and intellectual property, and facilitate coordination and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Engage with government stakeholders and advance policy proposals on key issues related to these activities.

Requirements

【必須】

• 規格・標準化の委員会に出席し、会議資料から技術的コンテクストを理解し、英語で質疑応答できること。
• 出席する規格・標準化の委員会で共有される技術資料の表現、粒度・平仄を理解し、技術コメント、修正文案等を作成できること。
• 政府関連組織の委員会・研究会等のメンバーとして、設定されるテーマに対し、当協会として考えうる意見を主張できること。

Required Qualifications

• Ability to participate in standards committee meetings, understand the technical context presented in meeting materials, and ask and answer questions in English.
• Ability to understand the terminology, level of detail, and drafting conventions used in technical documents circulated within the relevant standards committees, and to prepare technical comments and proposed revisions accordingly.
• Ability to articulate and advocate AIRoA’s views on the topics under discussion as a member of committees, study groups, or similar bodies convened by government-related organizations.

• ISO/TC 299、ISO/TC 22等に関連する分野のTC/SCへの参加経験、UN R100等に関連する知識。
• バッテリー等の性能、寿命、安全性等に関する試験方法や評価基準を設計、或いは運用してきた経験。
• バッテリー等への振動、衝撃、温度、外部・内部短絡、過充電等の試験、評価に関する考え方を説明できる知見。
• バッテリー性能等の「測定方法」と「製品が満たすべき安全要求・基準」を区別し、技術資料や規格原案にできる文書作成力。

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in AI or robotics, or a strong interest in their impact on society, combined with a shared belief in the value of advancing these initiatives in Japan.
• Experience participating in technical committees (TCs) or subcommittees (SCs) in relevant fields, such as those covered by ISO/TC 299 or ISO/TC 22, and knowledge of regulations such as UN Regulation No. 100 (UN R100).
• Experience designing or applying test methods and evaluation criteria for the performance, service life, and safety of products such as batteries.
• Technical knowledge sufficient to explain the principles behind testing and evaluating batteries and similar products, including vibration, mechanical shock, temperature, external and internal short-circuit, and overcharge testing.
• Technical writing skills to distinguish between performance measurement methods and the safety requirements and criteria that products must meet, and to clearly document both in technical materials and draft standards for products such as batteries.
