Essential Requirements
- EU/UK citizenship or existing right to work in Ireland (mandatory)
- Proven experience in a parts or stores role within a commercial vehicle, truck, trailer, or similar mechanical environment
- Strong understanding of truck and trailer components
- Experience in parts sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination
- Knowledge of warranty handling processes
- Strong IT skills, including stock management systems and parts catalogues
- Excellent English communication skills

As a Stores Person, you will take full ownership of the parts and stores function within a busy workshop environment. You will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and supplying parts efficiently to ensure minimal downtime and smooth workflow for technicians. This is a critical role that directly supports service performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the parts store
- Source and order parts for trucks, vans, trailers, and related equipment
- Work closely with technicians and service teams to support workflow and repair turnaround
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Handle all warranty processes, including claims and tracking
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory control
- Manage goods inwards and outwards, including returns
- Ensure correct allocation of parts to workshop jobs
- Use internal systems and parts platforms effectively
- Continuously improve stores organisation and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience in a parts or stores role within a commercial vehicle or mechanical environment
- Strong knowledge of truck, trailer, or similar vehicle components
- Experience in parts purchasing, stock control, and supplier management
- Familiarity with warranty processes and claims handling
- Strong IT competency with stock systems and parts catalogues
