The role of Stores Operative is responsible for all procedures related to stock stored in the Dublin office of Henry Schein Ireland, including receipt of goods-in, invoicing and dispatch and good-out and the appropriate organization and maintenance of the store area.
Placing of purchase orders. Receiving of goods onto the premises and the correct handling and storage of same to minimise the risk to the product or employees of Henry Schein. Using established procedures to record and control stock entering or leaving the premises. Invoicing and ensuring delivery of products as required by the company to ensure task completion in a timely and efficient manner. Ensuring high levels of cleanliness and order are achieved and maintained within the area of stores and common areas, including ensuring bulk waste storage bins are emptied in a timely manner. Organising and completing weekly cycle counts of the stock held on the premises to ensure that loss and damage are minimised. All stock to be counted twice per year minimum. Supporting the Service team with stock ordering invoicing and control. Supporting the Equipment sales team by ensuring equipment is available when required to enable completion of installations. At all times act in manner which reflects the Henry Schein Business Standards. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required

Physical Activities:
The role of Stores Operative involves heavy lifting, for which manual handling training and appropriate lifting and transport aids will be provided.
This role is an office based role.
Experience:
Experience in stock management or stock control would be an advantage.
Education:
A good general high school education is required with good written and numerical skills as the role holder will be required to make records, email and communicate with other departments and on occasion customers and must be able to conduct cycle counts and present the outcome of these counts.
Specialised Knowledge and Skills:
This role does not require any specialized knowledge although an awareness of Health and Safety and in particular manual handling would be an advantage.
Other:
A full driving licence would be an advantage but not essential.
