Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and inventory checks.
  • Record all inventory movements (receiving, issuing, returns) using manual logs or inventory software.
  • Ensure stock is properly labeled, organized, and stored in designated areas.
  • Report low stock levels, damaged goods, or discrepancies to the Storeroom Supervisor.

Receiving & Issuing Materials

  • Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities, descriptions, and quality against purchase orders.
  • Assist departments by issuing materials, tools, and supplies as requested.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate with carriers when required.

Storeroom Organization & Safety

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe storeroom environment.
  • Follow proper storage procedures for chemicals, hazardous materials, or sensitive items (if applicable).
  • Ensure all aisles, shelves, and storage equipment are neat and compliant with safety standards.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Update inventory records, stock cards, and tracking systems daily.
  • Prepare routine reports on inventory movement, shortages, or warehouse activities.
  • Assist with audits and regular stock reconciliations.

Deliveries & Pickups

Transport materials, supplies, and documents to and from various locations.Ensure items are delivered accurately, safely, and on time.Load and unload items securely to prevent damage.Maintain delivery logs or records.Communicate delays or issues with the Stores Supervisor or relevant departments.
