In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Store Room Clerk is responsible for the delivery of supplies and equipment throughout the Health System; checks incoming shipments for completeness and stores freight in approved locations. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.
Job Functions:
- Fills Pyxis and Department Requisitions and delivers supplies throughout the hospital
- Checks incoming freight for completeness and delivers to appropriate storage areas.
- Responsible for the correct on hand balance of physical inventory in the storeroom.
- Safely operates all department equipment.
- Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

QualificationsMinimum Education/Experience Required:
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write do math as generally demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED.
Special Knowledge, Skills, Training:
- Basic numerical skills, ability to follow instructions, computer literacy, excellent verbal and communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
Compensation Details:  Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
