About The Role:

This role reports to the Purchasing Manager and is part of the Purchasing Department whose function is to procure various items utilized by the hotel. The Storeroom Clerk checks all incoming goods (food and non-food items) against delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to ensure that the type and number of items charged and ordered were received.  The Storeroom Clerk also issues food, beverage and non-food goods to appropriate departments based on requisition orders. 

What You'll Do:

• Manage and fulfill requisitions while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper stock rotation of perishable items.
• Receive and inspect deliveries of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
• Store items properly and maintain an organized loading dock and walk-in cooler.
• Keep accurate records of inventory received, issued, and remaining.
• Issue supplies to hotel departments accordingly.

What You Bring:

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Valid U.S. Work Authorization

What To Expect:

• Direct involvement with both outside vendors and internal hotel management and excellent communication skills are essential. 
• This position requires a high level of physical mobility. The ability to continuously stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 30lbs is required.
• Work in an early-start, fast-paced environment where punctuality and dependability are essential to supporting seamless hotel operations. Candidates must be available to work between the hours of 6 a.m.- 5 p.m. daily.
